1963 Lancia Flavia Lot Number265 RegistrationEFC 38A Chassis Number8151312108 Engine Number2203 Odometer reading40,901 miles Estimate£21,000 - £26,000 Print details Send this to a friend 2 more images Launched at the Turin Motor Show in 1960, the Lancia Flavia Berlina was a medium sized executive motor car powered by Lancia’s, all aluminium, 1.5 boxer engine. The svelte coupé was developed by Pininfarina shortly afterwards and built upon a shortened platform. The hand-built cars constructed at Pininfarina’s new factory were considered to be built to a much higher standard than the later mass-produced cars. This impeccable coupé was registered in February 1963. The impressive history file for this comprehensively rotisserie restored Lancia contains bills for work in excess of £16,000. These works include an engine rebuild with new pistons and liners, valve seats and guides, a full rebuild of the brakes and suspension, new bumpers, grille, headlamps and surrounds, a new windscreen and new rubbers all round. Described by the vendor as 10/10, this Flavia presents extremely well in newly painted Fiat metallic Rosso and a new interior trimmed in white. This beautiful Flavia represents a rare purchase opportunity and is offered to auction with a V5C registration document and, although exempt by age, an MoT test certificate valid until November 2021.
