1966 Aston Martin DB6 Vantage Carte grise française Châssis n° DB6/2666/L/N Moteur n°400/2660V - DB6 Vantage conduite à gauche d'origine - Restauration ancienne de qualité - Même propriétaire depuis 1990 La fiche d'usine qui accompagne cette voiture permet de vérifier qu'elle montrait à la commande les équipements suivants : moteur Vantage, conduite à gauche, différentiel autobloquant, climatisation, jantes chromées avec papillons, lunette arrière chauffante, autoradio Bosch Köln avec antenne électrique, phares antibrouillard Marchal. Elle était "Silver Birch" (le fameux gris) avec intérieur "Dark Blue" et se présente aujourd'hui dans un élégant vert foncé, avec sellerie beige. En 1990, alors qu'elle était immatriculée au Texas au nom d'un M. Cook, elle fut importée en Suisse avant de séduire un amateur alsacien. Lors de son arrivée, elle a été accueillie par une grande fête en son honneur ! Quelques mois plus tard, elle était envoyée à Munich chez un spécialiste de la restauration des Aston Martin, Hieber Automobile GmbH. Carrosserie et intérieur ont entièrement été refaits, avec installation d'un téléphone, ce qui en 1991 était très exceptionnel. Un autre bloc moteur a été posé, et les numéros du moteur d'origine (400/2660V) ont été reportés. Nous suggérons une consultation de la très impressionnante facture de travaux, qui totalise 130 000 DM et qui a permis la réalisation d'un travail de très grande qualité. Passionné par la restauration de cette voiture, comme il l'a été par celle de sa demeure historique, notre collectionneur n'utilisera ensuite sa DB6 Vantage qu'avec grande parcimonie et s'en sépare par manque d'usage. Ainsi, 25 ans après les travaux, la voiture a toujours belle allure assortie d'une légère patine. It was "Silver Birch" (a popular shade of grey) with a "Dark Blue" interior, and is today in an elegant dark green, with beige upholstery. In 1990, when it was registered in Texas on behalf of a Mr Cook, the car was imported into Switzerland before it caught the fancy of an Alsatian enthusiast. On its arrival, the car was greeted by a big party in its honor! A few months later, it was sent to Munich, to an Aston Martin restoration specialist, Hieber Automobile GmbH. The body and interior have been completely redone and a phone was installed, which in 1991 was very exceptional indeed. Another engine block was fitted, re-stamped with the original engine numbers (400/2660V). The very impressive invoice totals 130,000 DM and explains the extremely high quality of the restoration. Passionate about the restoration of his car, our collector then used his DB6 Vantage very sparingly and is today selling it due to a lack of use. Thus, 25 years after the restoration job, the car still looks very beautiful, and is complimented by a light patina. This powerful left-hand-drive Vantage is capable of accommodating four people and is as beautiful as it is desirable.
