1969 MERCEDES BENZ 280 SL Série 11304410012642 Restauration intégrale Carte Grise Française « Pagode », tel est le surnom des cabriolets Mercedes Benz SL W113 fabriqués entre 1963 et 1972. Il est dû à la forme si particulière de son hard-top. La mission de la « Pagode » n'était pas très facile, il lui fallait à la fois remplacer et faire oublier la 190 SL et la 300 SL. C'est en mars 1967 qu'est présentée la nouvelle 280 SL, grande sœur des 230 SL et 250 SL qui sont apparues respectivement en 1963 et 1966. Ce magnifique cabriolet restera dans l'histoire de l'automobile comme un des chefs d'œuvre du talentueux styliste français Paul Bracq. Fiable et utilisable au quotidien même aujourd'hui, cette gamme est en adéquation avec l'image de qualité et de robustesse qui définit depuis toujours Mercedes-Benz. Le modèle présenté a été acquis par son propriétaire actuel il y a une dizaine d’années, il a alors entrepris une restauration intégrale de très grande qualité pour un cout dépassant les 60 000 euros. Le moteur à été entièrement refait, tout comme le châssis, les trains roulants et la carrosserie. Elle se présente dans une élégante configuration alliant une belle teinte bleu nuit et un intérieur en cuir havane. L’intérieur présente une très belle patine en effet lors de la restauration les boiseries ont été revernies et les chromes polis, les sièges ont eux conservés leur patine d’origine. Elle est équipée du troisième siège optionnel, d’un autoradio Becker et de son traditionnel hard top. De beaux antibrouillards Marchal viennent compléter l’ensemble. L’essai routier a révélé une voiture saine, les 4 rapports de la boite de vitesse manuelle passent bien et le moteur tourne parfaitement, témoignant de la qualité de la restauration entreprise.
