Nous sommes au début des années 70: oubliées les rondeurs passées, on veut désormais un dessin plus tranchant ! On ne pouvait en espérer davantage en découvrant le prototype LP500 dévoilé au Salon de Genève 1971: une véritable œuvre d'art dans les canons du style seventies. Le modèle de série lancé en 1974 en est très proche. Entrée en scène au Salon de Genève, la Lamborghini Countach LP 400 présente un profil taillé à la serpe et des lignes futuristes qui surprennent, autant que les performances détonnent: le V12 qui développe 375 ch. l'amène à frôler les 300 km/h. Il est installé en position centrale arrière, longitudinalement cette fois, contrairement à la Miura qu'elle remplace. Au fil des ans, la Countach va s'améliorer, gagner en puissance, par accroissements successifs de sa cylindrée, mais aussi grâce à l'adoption de culasses à quatre soupapes par cylindre sur la 5000 QV: sur cette version, la puissance est maintenant de 455 ch. C'est justement de l'évolution la plus agressive de la Lamborghini Countach qu'il s'agit avec cette 5000 Quattrovalvole. Il s'agit d'un modèle datant de 1985, dont l'aspect extravagant dû à sa ligne radicale est encore accentué par sa livrée noire. Son bel état reflète le faible kilométrage: seulement 37 628 km depuis l'origine ! Cette auto ne pouvait que séduire Pierre Brignole, amateur de voitures à forte personnalité.
