The Alfa Romeo Spider was manufactured from 1966 to 1993 and is widely regarded as a design classic, remaining in production for almost three decades with only minor aesthetic and mechanical changes. The three first series were assembled by Pininfarina in Grugliasco and the fourth series in San Giorgio Canavese and this was the last rear wheel drive Alfa Romeo. With this fourth series of production came mechanical and cosmetic changes; mechanically from the introduction of the Bosch Motronic electronic fuel injection with an electric fan and cosmetically, losing its front under bumper spoiler and the rear boot spoiler picking up 164 style rear lights stretching across the width of the car as well as colour co-ordinated plastic bumpers. This lovely left hand drive attractive convertible in dark green with tan leather/alcantara interior, is presented in lovely condition and comes with five service bills from 40,000 kms. These wonderful Italian sports cars are a joy to drive and is an appreciating classic which appeals to buyers here and in Europe.
