Description Designed by Benjamin Dimson in 1986, and sold between 1989 and 1994, the 964 featured significant styling revisions over previous 911 models; most prominently, the more integrated bumpers. It was the first generation 911 to be offered with Porsche’s optional Tiptronic automatic transmission and all-wheel drive as options. Porsche chose to re-use the 3.3 litre engine from the 930 with several minor revisions that made the engine smoother, less prone to turbo lag and more powerful with a total output of 320bhp at 5750rpm. The 964 Turbo is considered to be one of the prettiest 911s built and certainly one of the more powerful. Recently serviced by Porsche Sheffield, this matching numbers 964 3.3 Turbo benefits from being fitted with the more desirable G50 gearbox, and a recent rolling-road test shows that with the assistance of its blow off valve turbo timer, this Porsche is able to achieve a remarkable 500bhp. Suitable to the cars exceptional performance, this 964 comes fitted, by Porsche Japan, with a 3.8 RSR rear spoiler and front splitter. Further modifications include a blitz intercooler, adjustable suspension, carbon bonnet and roll cage. : Next Lot » Enquire Your name Email Telephone Message Type your message Join the COYS Connoisseur Club and receive monthly COYS newsletters, regular updates & exclusive member benefits.
