1910, USA: The Mills factory in Chicago started making these iconic machines in 1899 and didn't stop until the 1920's. This model with the musical cabinet was more rare. A wonderful example of an upright Chicago with a lower musical compartment, which debuted by Mills Novelty Co. in 1904. Enclosed in an oak cabinet with recessed panels, fluted columns, and hand carved woodwork throughout. The castings have a nickel finish, paired with an ornate six-way coin head. The tin lithographed wheel is the original and hard to find "I Will Girls" version. CONSIDERATIONS: Showing an earlier restoration to the cabinet, with replaced back door and new locks. A real nice example and it plays and pays. This is not a standard shippable item and will require 3rd party shipping or pickup arrangements to be made. Condition: (Very Good). Item Dimensions: 24" x 18" x 65".
