7.92 Mauser, 21" barrel, s/n 4851h. Blued finish, laminated hardwood stock, Bakelite resin hand guard. Receiver marked: G. 41 duv 43 WaA214 4851h. Matching serial number 4851 on all primary components, including stock, receiver, magazine housing, receiver cover, sight hood, gas cone, etc. Barrel bands and buttplate are not numbered. Dual Eagle/WaA inspections on obverse stock, not fully legible. Includes cleaning rod and original sling. A wonderful example of a scarce, matching number WWII German semi-auto battle rifle in a fine state of preservation. Condition: Fine overall. Retains much of the original blued finish with some wear and loss from handling and use. Some scattered areas of minor surface oxidation present. Mechanically functional, fine, bright bore. Stock with bumps, dings and some wear. Really a fine example.
