Title: 8 photographs including view of Hindenburg Zeppelin before its last flight Author: Wolff, Paul Place: Germany Publisher: Date: c.1935-37 Description: Eight gelatin silver photographs, initialed and dated in the negative, though some dates illegible. Approx. 7¾x4¾, mounted on blue construction paper, with typed captions in German mounted below the images. Photographs by the noted German photographer Paul Wolff (1887-1951), whose creditable work concentrated initially on urban images for book illustration, but expanded into public relations for motor companies, fashion houses, and the photographic industry. This is possibly the last photograph taken of the Hindenburg on German soil. Other photographs include mechanics working on the engine of a Mercedes Ms-245; a massive turbine; a small railroad engine belching smoke in a steel factory; a typewriter factory; etc. Lot Amendments Condition: Very good condition. Item number: 189463
