A 19th century Russian silver cup, the cylindrical form engraved with circular panels and stylised motifs, one panel monogrammed, and raised on a flared footed base, with a tall flat-top angular handle, struck marks to base, 84 standard, city mark worn and indistinct, Assay Master mark dated 1873 and a further maker's mark, height including handle 3.5" (9cm). Together with a later Russian silver jug of tapering footed form with engraved foliate scroll surround to a vacant cartouche, marked to base with double punch for Moscow 84 standard, alongside a maker's mark, with repeated city and maker's marks to inner foot, spout and handle, height 3.25" (8.5cm).
