Serial no. 172720 for 1916, 20 gauge. 28 inch blued barrels with matte concave rib marked Parker Brothers Makers. Meriden, Conn. Vulcan Steel. White bead fore-sight, rear bead missing. Ejectors. Automatic safety. Signed and border-engraved boxlock action. Checkered walnut splinter fore-end and semi-pistolgrip stock. Vacant shield-shaped German silver escutcheon. Jostam red rubber buttpad. With factory letter and hang tag. Condition: Fair. Barrels retain 60% blue finish with wear and patches of spotting at breech end. Bores with light marks, left side with dent below muzzle. Fore-end showing wear to checkering and scattered light marks. Buttsock with wear to checkering,scattered light marks, chip to right side at frame juncture and crack to wrist.
