A varied group of documents obtained by a young boy who worked at Candlestick Park and who had the job of cleaning-up after the show; all items (which were found in the Giants dugout where the Beatles exited from as they headed to the stage) include: 1) a blueprint (though now yellowed) labeled "Block Diagram for Beatles' / Sound System / Date 8-12-66;" 2) a blueprint (though now yellowed) labeled "Speakers Layout / For / Beatles' Show / Candlestick Park / Date 8-12-66;" 3) three individual tickets (one unused) featuring images of The Beatles below text noting the concert was sponsored by "KYA Radio 1260;" 4) an 'Usher' tag worn by ushers at concert; 5) a one-page document on 'NEMS Enterprises Ltd' letterhead outlining details about "Beatles Immediate Touring Party / Pass Card No.1" which describes who the bearers of these cards were and how they had immediate access to the Beatles. In essence, these were the "backstage passes" before that became a common term at rock shows; 6) a one-page document on 'NEMS Enterprises Ltd' letterhead outlining details about "Identification Card / Pass Card No. 2;" and 7) a four-page mimeographed memo from 'Tempo Productions' [a concert promoter based in San Francisco] with the first page noting "Press Pass / Beatles Concert / August 29, 1966 / 8:00 P.M. / Candlestick Park," the second page outlining the different types of passes - either "White & Red" or "Press," the third page listing the names of journalists who had the Press Passes including Herb Caen [of The San Francisco Chronicle] and Ben Fong-Torres [of Rolling Stone magazine] among fifty others, and the fourth page listing the names of the VIPs who had all-access passes including Joan Baez, Jim Marshall [a photographer], Jon Sagen [of Capitol Records], Ralph J. Gleason [of The San Francisco Chronicle who was to interview The Beatles after the concert], plus a number of concert promoters and KYA radio station employees, among a few others. Overall, a great archive that reveals heretofore unknown details about this now-historic concert that sadly was the Beatles' last one. (Please note that many of the pages are worn, wrinkled, torn, and have some paper loss, but are all still legible.) Blueprints: 23 x 29in; Documents: various sizes
