Some old chips and splits. Wear and areas of loss to the the surface. Some areas of the surface sympathetically refreshed/ re-painted to disguise old loss. This is particularly relevant to the rounded corner terminals of the top. Later screws secure elements of thin moulding to the lower edge of the frieze from the underside. The table is of solid structure Some possible later elements of timber to legs/ stretcher/ feet. The stretchers of timber supporting the top from the underside and the drawer runners are later.
