A BROCARD BLUE GLASS FOOTED DISH PARIS, FRANCE, CIRCA 1870-80 Rising from tall trumpet foot to flat base and vertical slightly everted rim, the surface of the dish enamelled with a star formed of white interlacing strapwork and filled with a dense pattern of blue and gold floral scrolls, around this a band of blue, gold-outlined S-shapes and a further band of scrolling floral vine, the foot signed in red Brocard et Fils, PARIS 13¼in. (33.7cm.) diam.
