The central face is in the form of a ferocious buffalo, and is flanked and surmounted by human faces. His consort, Vajra Vetali, has one leg wrapped around the deity, and holds a skull cup and curved knife. Both are backed by a flaming aureole. 10 ¼ in. (26 cm.) high
