Provenance : Sir Martin Browne ffolkes (armorial bookplate) with A Catalogue of the Harleian Manuscripts in the British Museum . London: Eyre and Strahan, 1808-12; with 2 other similar works in 4 volumes.

Provenance : Sir Martin Browne ffolkes (armorial bookplate) with A Catalogue of the Harleian Manuscripts in the British Museum . London: Eyre and Strahan, 1808-12; with 2 other similar works in 4 volumes. With Catalogi librorum manuscriptorum Angliae et Hiberniae in unum collecti . Oxford: Sheldonian Theatre, 1697. 4 parts in 2 volumes. Engraved frontispiece and large title-vignette depicting the Bodleian Library, both by M. Burghers, a few engraved headpieces (3 wormholes tapering to one in upper, blank, margins as far as S1, repaired in first few leaves, occasional light browning, a little spotting). Wing C1253. [ Bound with :] COTTON, Sir Robert Bruce (1571-1631). Catalogus librorum manuscriptorum bibliothecae Cottonianae...cui praemittuntur...Roberti Cottoni, equitis...vita...scriptore Thoma Smitho . Ibid., 1696. Engraved portrait, device on title and 3 headpieces (a little discolouration). Wing S4233. 2 works in one volume. 2° (393 x 250mm). Contemporary sprinkled panelled calf (rebacked, corners bumped).
