A Chamberlain's Worcester green-ground shaped armorial serving dish the centre with griffin crest with motto GLORIA. QUO. COELUM. VOCANT surmounted with a coronet, within a border of four cartouches painted with bouquets of flowers, script mark and impressed mark (restored section to handle) -- 27cm. wide; a Chamberlain's Worcester blue-ground armorial soup plate, the centre painted with arms above motto DUM SPIRO SPERO , with crest of a bird above a crown, within gilt gadrooned border, script mark (minor surface scratches) -- 25.5cm. diam.; and a Chamberlain's Worcester green-ground armorial soup bowl, the centre painted with arms above motto CASSIS TUTISSIMA VIRTUS , beneath lion's head crest, script mark (restored) -- 26cm. diam., circa 1850 See colour plate (3)
