MING DYNASTY, 16TH CENTURY
A Chinese celadon tripod censer Ming dynasty, 16th Century The cylindrical body moulded with inwards curved rim, supported on three small cabriole feet, the sides incised with wavy lines, the base with inscription and with projecting unglazed circular foot ring, covered in a translucent pale green glaze, thinning towards the rim, glaze crackled, chip to one foot 13.2 cm. diam.
