A Chinese Export Silver Four-Piece Tea and Coffee Set and Matching Tray Luen Hing, Shanghai, Circa 1910 comprising a teapot, coffee pot, creamer, two-handled sugar bowl and two-handled tray, the oval bodies with spot-hammered surfaces applied on both sides with dragons, angular handles and knop finials, the tray rectangular with cut corners and applied bamboo rim and handles, the border chased with dragons, center engraved with a dragon surrounded by smoke, together with a pair of matching sugar tongs and a similar Japanese export teacup and saucer marked on bases, tray with jungin mark only, teacup and saucer by Samurai Shokai, Yokohama 107 ozt excluding porcelain teacup liner Length of tray over handles 20 inches Estimate $ 3,000-5,000 as noted re jungin mark only on tray, solder reinforcements (?lead) to undersides of handles on tray, sugar tongs apparently unmarked, porcelain liner with crack and filled chip at rim, teapot handle with couple tiny dings at edge, and one small crease but not through. coffee pot with tiny dimple to top of handle above hinge pin, overall good condition.
