A COALPORT IMARI-PATTERN PART TEA AND COFFEE-SERVICE painted in underglaze-blue and iron-red and enriched in gilding with a central stylised loose bouquet, the borders with flower-sprays alternating with blue panels reserved with birds on flowering branches within ogival cartouches, comprising an oval teapot, cover and stand, an oval sugar-bowl and a cover, with gilt lion's mask and fixed ring handles, an oval milk-jug, a slop-bowl (two hair-line cracks to base), five teacups (one with two minute rim chips), five coffee-cans (one cracked, one with chipped footrim) and eight saucers (some rubbing to gilding), circa 1805
