A COLLECTION OF 18TH CENTURY FRENCH AND ENGLISH VIEWS Comprising 'A View of the Palace of Chantilli, taken from the principal entrance'; 'A View of the Palace of Chantilli, taken from the Orangery'; 'A prospect of the Palace of Seaux' and 'A view of the great Fish-pond of Fontainebleau and the Court of Fountains at a distance', all after J. Rigaud (ca. 1681-1754); 'The East View of Kew and Strand Green'; 'A View of the Palace from a Hill in the middle of the Lawn with the Bridge, the temples of Bellona, of Pan, of Aeolus, and the House of Confuscius in the Royal Gardens at Kew, after William Woollett (1735-1785); and 'A perspective View of the Canal at Gubbins in Hertfordshire, a seat of Sir Jeremy Sanbrooke Bart, after Jean-Baptiste-Claude Chatelain (c. 1710 - c. 1771) engravings with extensive handcolouring in goauche, on laid papers, with creases to a few plates, a tear in the text of view of the Palace of Sieux, a small area of paper loss at the lower left corner of the Canal at Gubbins, each framed P. 370 x 540 mm.
