With the 76th Battery R.F.A. he served in South Africa, January 1900-March 1904 and was awarded the Queen’s medal with six clasps and the King’s medal with two. Transferred to the Army Reserve in March 1902 and discharged in February 1908. With copied service papers and roll extract.
