* A Collection of Nine Dresden Porcelain Figures and Figural Groups each depicting dancing figures, most having simulated lace bodices. Height of tallest 11 1/2 inches. Estimate $ 300-500 Property from the Collection of Sheldon and Carole Sepstead, Grafton, Wisconsin Each in fair to good condition overall. Each with scattered instances of sticker residue and accumulated dust to the recesses. Seated woman stretching: Minor chip to edge of encrusted flower petal to the front of her simulated lace bodice. Seated woman adjusting shoes: Two minor splits to the glaze on yellow torso. Several minuscule cobalt blue spots to the lower edges of the simulated bodice. Woman reclining on chaise longue: Three significant areas of loss to the lowest tier of the bodice. Woman raising bodice on both sides: Repair to the ring finger on her proper-left hand. Scattered instances of loss to the bodice at the ends. Figural group of three dancers: Dancer situated at the proper-right side with area of loss to simulated lace at her bosom. Scattered instances of loss to the bodice at the ends. Other seated woman stretching: Area of visible grime accumulation to her blue torso and the adjacent simulated lace detail (this area of discoloration does not fluoresce under UV light). Minor chip to one of the encrusted flowers at the front of her bodice. Woman holding fan: area of loss to simulated lace at her bosom. Four of five fingers on her proper-right hand are missing. Scattered areas of loss to the simulated lace detail on her bodice and on an arm of the dress. Minor chip to the lower edge of the circular base. Dancing couple: Woman with two cracked fingers on her proper-right hand. Significant areas of loss to the simulated lace details of her dress, particularly to the reverse. Woman wearing floral garland: Proper-right arm is broken, with associated damage to the adjacent areas. Area of loss to the lower edge of the bodice, together with a minor chip to the pink fabric of her dress. Floral hair piece with chips.
