Beschreibung:

Manufactured in 1889 and shipped to Colt's San Francisco Agency on March 10, 1890, in a shipment of 3 guns. The 1877DA was made in 3 different calibers. These were all named by Ben Kittredge as a marketing ploy. The .32 Long Colt was called the Rainmaker. With Colt making less than 250 of the Rainmakers, it makes it one of the rarest Colts available. Hartford 2-line address on the top of the barrel. "COLT DA 32" roll die stamped on the left side of the barrel. "32M" on the underside of the barrel next to the action. 3-line patent dates on the left front of the frame. All matching serial numbers on the frame, trigger guard, and backstrap. Last 3 numbers of the serial number on the back of the cylinder. There is a "G" stamped on the left rear trigger guard webbing and a "C" on the rear of the frame just above the firing pin hole. 2-piece hard rubber grips with Colt logo at the top. CONDITION: Gun retains 60% of the original factory-applied nickel finish, with the majority of the loss being on the frame. Fire blue on the hammer, trigger, center pin, and screws have 50% remaining. Great bore with just a couple of small spots of frosting in the lands and grooves. The grip panels show normal wear from handling this gun. A rare and desirable gun that was shipped to the West. REW Name Value Accessories Barrel Length 4 - 1/2" Caliber/Bore .32 Colt FFL Status Antique Manufacturer Colt Model 1877 Paperwork LOA Serial Number 74359
