A COPELAND LATE SPODE IRONSTONE PART DINNER-SERVICE printed in underglaze-blue and coloured in red, green and yellow with the Avondale pattern, the centres with baskets of flowers within borders of scattered flowers and seeded rims edged with scrolls, with green fruit finials, comprising: A two-handled soup-tureen, cover, stand and ladle Two vegetable-tureens and covers (one with small rim chip) Two sauce-tureens, covers and stands (crack to one cover and one tureen, chip to footrim of the other tureen) Seven oblong-octagonal meat-dishes in four sizes (one cracked, four with staining and crazing to glaze) Eleven soup-plates (two cracked) Twelve dinner-plates (three cracked) Twelve dessert-plates (staining and crazing) Ten side-plates (some staining and crazing) impressed and blue printed marks, pattern number 6440, circa 1860
