A Danish porcelain tankard mounted with gilt sterling silver cover, the porcelain decorated in colours and gold with laurel garland and three laurel wreaths, respectively adorned with the Royal Arms, King Frederik VIII’s crowned monogram and the King’s motto in Latin; The Lord is my Helper. The hinged cover chased with laurel wreath and Order of the Elephant chain, the centre mounted with Frederik VIII Coronation Medal, the thumb-piece cast in the shape of a lion holding a shield with Frederik VIII’s crowned monogram.
