A Dutch-engraved facetted goblet and cover Circa 1750, the glass Dutch or German The thistle-shaped bowl inscribed HET LANDS WEL VAAREN (The Prosperity of the Country) above a continuous scene of architectural structures, trees and a sea with a large three-master sailing ship, with facetted lower part and inverted baluster stem, on folded conical foot, the domed cover engraved with flower sprays, with baluster finial en suite to the stem 33.5 cm. high See illustration
