A Fabergé silver and cut-glass toilet service, Moscow, 1899-1908 comprising a large silver rectangular box with hinged lid, one large and two small rectangular silver-lidded glass boxes, two circular boxes, a tall oval box, two large and two smaller silver-topped bottles, two oval and two rectangular silver brushes, one small rectangular and one small cylindrical silver box, a shaving brush, a nail buffer, and a button hook, each engraved with initials CS on polished surfaces within neoclassical borders of bound reeds, laurel swags and leaf trails, struck KF and/or K.Fabergé in Cyrillic beneath the Imperial Warrant, 84 standard; with two small leather containers, one fitted with a glass ink bottle; in a fitted pigskin travelling case, Goyard, Paris, with key Quantity: 22 width of largest box 21.2cm, 8 3/8 in.; height of larger bottles 14cm, 5 3/8 in.
