A FAMILLE ROSE SGRAFFIATO 'MEDALLION' BOWL 19TH CENTURY The bowl is decorated on the exterior with four medallions containing the 'Lanterns of Abundance', feng deng , in reserve on a pink ground with floral designs. The interior is decorated in underglaze blue with four be-ribboned canopied vases, surrounding a central medallion radiating four flowering plants. The base with an apocryphal Qianlong period mark. 5 7/8 in. (15 cm.) diam.
