cast in resin with a detailed aluminium underpan including full exhausts, sump, differential and spoiler fitted beneath the fuel tank, fully detailed interior with all dials and switchgear, seatbelts with all buckles, and ignition key with fob, each wheel is made up from 149 separate components including a machine turned rim and individual spokes, nipples and a valve, the paintwork is made up of several layers of automotive paint. The master pattern for this model took seven months to create and this model has been completely finished by hand by the pattern maker Neville Smith and is signed underneath. With a length of 92cm and a weight of nearly 20 kilos this is the largest and the most impressive model 250 GTO built. The model is finished as 4153 GT, built in 1963 and is sporting the Ecurie Francorchamps livery. In its first race at Le Mans that year it finished 4th overall and went on to win Tour de France in 1964.
