The heavy semicircular angular-section hoop with a six-petalled rosette on either shoulder, supporting a large oval bezel set with a brightly coloured mottled red, black, turquoise and yellow glass scaraboid, the open-backed gold setting formed by a band of plain, spiral beaded and twisted wires, the glass inset held in place by sheet gold dog-teeth settings 1¼ in. (3.1 cm.) across max.
