A fine assembly of postal history and stamps including 1608-1786 "A.Q." letters (36, some rare types), the stamps with 1850-54 issue with handmade paper 10c. used (2, one the silver-grey shade), 15c. cancelled by the rare dumb h.s. of Lecco, 45c. on ribbed paper (2, affixed to piece), machine paper 10c. used on piece, 15c. and 45c. fresh with original gum, Milan Postal Forgery 15c. (poor condition), five values to 45c. showing off-set on reverse, a fine range of first issue values on entires (59) including rare unframed straight-line "Cantú" d.s. on 15c., 1858 second issue on entires (12) and later, better cancellations on stamps and pieces (mainly first issue).
