A fine bronze limited edition miniature of the Greenwich 'Dolphin' sundial, sculpted by Edwin Russell produced by Brookbrae Ltd, London; 1977 with two dolphins supporting the crescent graduated dial-plate in their mouths', scratched on the reverse EJCR 1 , the dolphin tails form the gnomon with the narrow gap between forming the nodus, supported atop a stylised wave to a green marble circular plinth base, in presentation carrying case stamped NATIONAL MARITIME MUSEUM GREENWICH , with spare dial plate (for changing at the solstices) 22cm. (8¾in.) high, the case 26.5 x 24.3 x 26.5cm. (10½ x 9½ x 10½in.)
