A Fine Cloisonné Enamel Vase Signed Namikawa , Meiji Period (Circa 1890) Of squat baluster form with applied gilt foot and rim, the black enamel ground worked in silver and gilt wire with stylised floral and butterfly designs between two bands of floral lozenges, the lid similarly worked with descending floral lappets and with a gilt knop in the form of a partially open chrysanthemum blossom, signed with engraved characters on the slightly recessed base Kyoto Namikawa [Namikawa of Kyoto] 4 13/16in. (12.2cm.) high
