A FINE EAST EUROPEAN PARCEL GILT AND NIELLOED SILVER TEA CANISTER circa 1700, unmarked Octagonal, with plain curved panels nielloed alternatly with flowers and male and female standing figures, with engraved scalework between the raised shoulder nielloed with a band of fruit swags, the screw cover similarly nielloed with foliate ring handle, the base engraved with Russian inscription, 16.5cm. (6½in.) high gross 380grs.
