A FINE WHITE JADE SQUARE PENDANT 18TH CENTURY The thick plaque of translucent, even white stone, well carved in shallow relief on one side with a young boy paddling a boat in tranquil flowing waters, the handled basket beside him filled with lingzhi and tall grasses, the reverse with a raised four-character inscription in seal script reading dai lai hua jia (welcoming sixty years of age), the top carved with vaporous clouds and pierced for suspension 2 1/16 in. (5.2 cm.) high
