A Five-Case Lacquer Inro Edo Period (19th century), signed Kajikawa and sealed Ei Lacquered in gold and lack takamaki-e with Raijin, the god of thunder beating drums on a storm cloud with flashes of lightning, while in pale togidashi , people beneath the clouds run for shelter from the storm, the sky embellished with hirame , interiors nashiji ; fitted with a silvered-metal disc ojime with a gilt rabbit on both sides 3 3/8in. (8.5cm.) long
