PROBABLY ANTWERP, SECOND HALF 17TH CENTURY
THE STAND ENGLISH, SECOND QUARTER 19TH CENTURY
The moulded convex cornice above two doors with later glazed plates, enclosing ten drawers with inset painted oil on copper panels, surrounding a central door flanked by columns, opening to reveal a mirrored interior centred by a marshal figure, on a floor inlaid with lozenge-shaped ivory marquetry, above a long drawer, similarly inset, over a writing slide inlaid with geometric strapwork, the sides similarly inlaid
On a later ebonised and parcel-gilt stand
The doors later adapted and fitted with glazed panels
