A FOUR PIECE SILVER TEA SERVICE WITH MATCHING PLATED TEA KETTLE AND TWO HANDLED TRAY, maker's mark of Jones Ball & Co., Boston, circa 1850, stamped PURE SILVER COIN, comprising teapot, two handled covered sugar bowl, cream jug and waste bowl, each elongated spherical, initialled R on raised circular foot, with applied beaded rims, the wood scroll handled teapot with partly domed hinged cover topped by beaded bud finial-- the teapot 8in. (20.3cm.) high ; the tea kettle with fixed handle, on circular stand; the oval tray engraved with figures and large foliage, initialled, with bold beaded rim and handles-- length over handles 29½in. (74.9cm.), the silver, gross weight 56.5oz. (6)
