A FRENCH SILVER-GILT MOUNTED FLINTLOCK PISTOL for the Eastern market, the two-stage sighted barrel stamped with gilt stars and chiselled at the breech with a trophy of arms, rounded lock engraved 'London' between lions, the cock and tail chiselled ensuite with the breech against a gilt granular ground, figured walnut full stock (grip repaired), full silver mounts cast and chased with trophies of arms, and no provision for a ramrod, French silver marks, early 19th Century; and a French flintlock pistol with two-stage brass barrel engraved with a trophy of arms at the breech, signed engraved brass lock (cock incomplete), carved figured walnut full stock, full engraved silver mounts including spurred pommel (one incomplete) with cap cast and chased with a male bust in Turkish costume (ramrod missing) by Cassaignard Nantes, French silver marks, mid-18th Century 15in. and 13½in. (2)
