A Geological Survey of the Yorkshire Coast: Describing the Strata and Fossils occurring between the Humber and the Tees, 2nd edition, Whitby: Printed at the office of R. Kirby, 1828, engraved frontispiece,double-page engraved geological map and strata section, both hand-coloured, 17 lithograph plates (complete as list), all with contemporary hand-colouring and one double-page, subscribers' list & errata present at rear, occasional spotting and some offsetting, ink library stamp and numbers to verso of title and stamps to lower blank corners of three text pages, modern cloth, a little rubbed, gilt-lettered spine with ink marks, 4to, together with Davis (James W. & Lees, F. Arnold) , West Yorkshire: an account of its Geology, Physical Geography, Climatology, and Botany, 1st edition, 1878, two large folding maps (with some short closed tears and a few repairs to verso) contained within pockets, 21 plates, including 5 coloured folding, contemporary cloth, extremities worn, a few marks, 8vo, plus Phillips (John) , Illustrations of The Geology of Yorkshire; or, A Description of the Strata and Organic Remains. Part I.- The Yorkshire Coast, Volume 1 (of two), 3rd edition, 1875, hand-coloured lithograph folding map, nine sectional lithograph plates (7 hand-coloured), 19 lithograph plates of fossils, some staining to plate margins, particularly at rear, both upper blank corners of title with ink stamp, one of 'I.C.S.T. Geology Department.', the other 'Judd Library', verso of folding map with same two ink stamps, contemporary cloth, rebacked, original spine (with some library marks) relaid, a little rubbed at extremities, 4to, plus 7 related (10)
