A GEORGE II SILVER TEA KETTLE AND SPIRIT STAND MARK OF PEZÉ PILLEAU, LONDON, 1754 Of inverted pear shape, chased around the upper body and the cover with scrolls and flowers which continue down around the scalloped spout, the swing handle lacking raffia binding, engraved to both sides with rococo cartouches, one with a coat of arms, the other with a crest, the stand applied with ribbon-tied floral swags on three leaf-capped scroll supports terminating in shell feet, the fixed central spirit lamp engraved with a crest 15 in. (38 cm.) high 53 oz. (1648 gm.)
