A George III ebonised and brass-mounted fruitwood striking table clock Robert Henderson, London, circa 1780 The brass-lined case with later concave-moulded top, glazed sides, on later brass bracket feet, the dial signed Robt.Henderson/LONDON , on a silvered sector in the matted centre, later hands, strike/silent ring in the arch, twin fusee movement now with anchor escapement, stike on bell, with foliate engraved back plate 17 in. (43 cm.) high
