A GEORGE III LEATHER-COVERED PEWTER EWER WITH SILVER MOUNTS ATTRIBUTED TO JOSEPH CRESWELL, CIRCA 1775 TO 1780 Standing on a compressed conical foot, with a pear shaped body, flaring lip, and 'C' scroll handle, all covered in ox leather. The lip and foot riveted with beaded silver mounts. Seaming visible in parts, minor cracking to leather, underside of foot covered in green felt. 11¾ in. (30 cm.) high
