A GEORGE III SILVER OLD ENGLISH PATTERN SOUP LADLE with initials RHV, markers mark TB possibly Thomas Wilkes Barker and further hallmarks for London 1810 together with a mid 20th century silver presentation salver with piecrust edge and three scroll feet, marks for D & J Wellby Limited of Garrick Street London, 20.5cm diameter and a small hallmarked silver pill box with engraved lid and a white metal mounted Meersham pipe with hinged lid and later horn mouth piece, 34cm long (4) Condition: the ladle with some minor marks and scratches particularly to the edge of the bowl, otherwise reasonable condition, the initials possibly contemporary, the marks dirty but reasonably clear; the salver with two dents to the top and with presentation inscription, the marks with wear; the pill box with small dent to the lid, moderate condition overall; the pipe with later stem, possibly original mouthpiece, generally wear, black marks inside the hinged lid, marks and dents to the bowl, moderate condition overall; the combined weight of the ladle, salver and box is approximately 538 grams
