A GEORGE III SILVER SOUP-TUREEN AND COVER MARK OF PAUL STORR LONDON, 1815 Circular and on pedestal foot, the body part-fluted and with two leaf-capped bracket handles and with shell, foliage and gadrooned rim, the cover with detachable reeded handle, the body engraved twice with a coat-of-arms, the cover engraved twice with a crest, marked on side, on cover bezel and handle , with plated liner and later French plated stand by Plasait Orfèvre 13¾ in. (35 cm.) wide over handles 111 oz. (3,440 gr.) The arms are those of Codrington impaling Sturgeon, for Sir Edward Codrington (1770-1851) and his wife Anne.
