A very Elegant and Matchless Pair of Toilet and Dressing Tables of Gillow's best Work finished in Rich St.Domingo Mahogany. These tables were specially made to order for the Chamber occupied by George IV at Castle Martyr, Co Cork, the seat of the late Earl of Shannon and were purchased by Mr Burgess at that sale in 1867. Jn F Cooke', losses to moulding,the dressing table 122cm wide, 68.5cm deep, 86cm high (48" wide, 26.5" deep, 33.5" high), the washstand 122cm wide, 69.5cm deep, 38.5cm high (48" wide, 27" deep, 38.5" high).
