A GEORGE IV SCOTTISH SILVER PIGGIN MARK OF ROBERT GRAY AND SONS, GLASGOW, 1827 The cylindrical body applied with bands simulating staves, with two spatulate handles, each with a shell motif and fruiting grapevine terminals, engraved with an inscription, marked underneath, the base further stamped '559' 6½ in. (16.5 cm.) wide over handles 11 oz. (328 gr.) The inscription reads ' Alexander Crum Apr. 8 1828 '
