A gilt-bronze and cloisonné enamel ‘dragon’ Tibetan horn Qing dynasty, 19th century of tapering curved form, the exterior brightly decorated overall against a turquoise ground with archaistic dragon and mythical beasts, the trumpet-shaped bellpipe issuing from a gilt-bronze dragon head, set with a gilt-bronze triple flaming jewel and an animal mask just below the rim, the leadpipe terminating to a gilt-bronze mouthpiece decorated with lappets and band of circles 41.2cm., 16 1/4 in.
