The sideboard of rectangular form, enclosed by a pair of inset rosewood faced doors with incised interlacing vertical lines, brass ring handles, on tapering legs, faded, the table designed by Frank Whitton circa 1950, the barrel rectangular figured veneer top over an inset frieze mounted with yew wood circular bosses, on four turned and fluted tapering legs, with an additional leaf, stained, the leaf patched to one corner, the chairs designed by W.H. Russell, nos. X6408 and X6409, circa 1950, each with an open panel back with three vertical waisted splats, overstuffed seat on square tapering front legs united by raised side rail stretchers, the seven standard chairs in mahogany, the pair of elbow chairs in teak, the walnut coffee table with a circular top on a triform base, stained, various Gordon Russell labels to the two tables and some chairs, the sideboard 122cm wide, the dining table 228cm extended, 98.5cm maximum width, the coffee table 76.5cm diameter.
